Indian Baker in Nairobi, Kenya



We are seeking a skilled Indian Baker to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of Indian breads and pastries. Your main duties will include mixing dough, shaping and proofing breads, and monitoring baking times and temperatures. You must have experience in traditional Indian baking techniques and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of Indian breads such as naan, roti, and paratha
- Mix dough according to recipes and monitor rising times
- Shape dough into proper forms for baking
- Set oven temperatures and monitor baking times
- Decorate pastries with fillings or icings as needed
- Ensure quality control by checking the appearance, taste, and texture of baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Order necessary ingredients and supplies for daily production

Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality or have extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Baker
- Knowledge of traditional Indian baking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail for measuring ingredients accurately
- Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as needed
- Must have own transportation or live near the bakery

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
