Plasterboard Worker

A reputable construction company in Washington is seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team. As a Plasterboard worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard onto walls and ceilings using various techniques
- Secure plasterboard with screws or nails
- Fill joints between sheets with joint compound and smooth out any imperfections
- Apply texture or decorative finishes if needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on construction sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterboard Worker in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for the job
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of safety precautions in a construction setting

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per week for this contract position. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
