Land Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and creating maps of the land for various construction projects. You will also be responsible for providing accurate measurements and data to support the design and development of structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to identify boundaries, topography, and other features of the land
- Use specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones to collect data
- Create maps and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to support the planning and design of construction projects
- Provide guidance on land use regulations and zoning laws
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in a construction or engineering environment
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones
- Knowledge of CAD software for creating maps and drawings
- Strong understanding of land use regulations and zoning laws in Kenya
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
