Plumber Technician



As a Plumber Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes working with pipes, fixtures, fittings, and other plumbing equipment. You will also be expected to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to various plumbing problems.

To excel in this role, you should have strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of plumbing principles. You must also possess excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with building codes
- Read blueprints and follow technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with plumbing equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems
- Use hand and power tools to complete tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Collaborate with other technicians when needed
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Proven experience as a plumber technician or similar role
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license

Working Conditions:

This is a contract position located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a plumber technician, you may encounter various working conditions such as tight spaces, heights, or exposure to loud noises. You may also be required to work outside during inclement weather.

Salary:

The salary for this role is 1800 USD per month.
