Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial analysis and reporting, maintaining financial records, and preparing tax documents. You will work closely with the senior accountants and finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of accounting principles and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Prepare tax documents and assist with tax filings
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable for any discrepancies or errors
- Collaborate with the senior accountants to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Conduct research on accounting issues as needed
- Assist in developing budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide support for audits and other external reviews

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in accounting (including internships) is preferred but not required
