Experienced Seamstress in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for cutting, sewing, and repairing various garments according to client specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut fabric according to patterns or client measurements
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment to sew garments
- Alter or repair garments as needed
- Consult with clients on design preferences and provide recommendations
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work space

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Seamstress is required
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work full-time hours including weekends if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Accommodation:
We provide accommodation for our employees who live outside of Nairobi. Our staff quarters include basic amenities such as electricity, water, and cooking facilities.
