Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Bansko, Canada. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials for construction projects. Your main goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the excavator while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, load trucks and move materials as per project requirements
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operations on the job site
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and provide updates on progress or any issues that arise

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of excavator operations, safety procedures and maintenance requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical fitness and ability to handle long hours of standing and operating machinery
- Good communication skills in English

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week for this contract position, with opportunities for growth within our company. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
