Metal Fabricator

As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating, shaping, and assembling metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. Your primary duties will include cutting, bending, welding, and shaping metal pieces using hand and power tools. You may also be required to operate machinery such as drill presses, lathes, and grinders to fabricate metal components. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will need to ensure that all finished products meet quality standards and project requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of different types of metals and their properties, as well as experience working with various fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cut, bend, shape, and weld metal pieces using various tools and equipment
- Operate machinery such as drill presses, lathes, and grinders to fabricate metal components
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed in the workshop
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Familiarity with various fabrication techniques such as cutting, bending, welding
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Physical strength to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs)
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)
