English Teacher


We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our school in Eldoret, Canada. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. You must have a strong understanding of the English language and be able to effectively teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, along with relevant teaching experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month. Non-native speakers with fluency in English are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with curriculum standards
- Assess students' language abilities and provide feedback on their progress
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about students' academic progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to plan educational activities and events
- Stay up-to-date on current teaching methods, materials, and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Relevant teaching certification or qualification (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English as a second language
- Native or near-native proficiency in the English language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
