Tutor for English as a Second Language (ESL)



We are seeking a qualified and experienced ESL tutor to join our team in Vilnius! As an ESL tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to students of various ages and backgrounds. This is a part-time position, with the possibility of full-time hours in the future. We welcome applications from both Indian and Canadian nationals, and no prior knowledge of Lithuanian is required.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum for ESL classes
- Provide instruction in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Assess students' language proficiency and track progress
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Communicate with students' parents or guardians about their progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop effective teaching strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Linguistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching ESL to non-native speakers
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated to helping students succeed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1300 USD per month. Full-time hours may be available in the future depending on student enrollment.

Location:
This position is located in Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania. We welcome applicants from all nationalities but can provide assistance with accommodation for Indian or Canadian nationals if needed.
