Database Administrator
A well-established organization in Jerusalem is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing and maintaining databases, have excellent problem-solving skills, and possess strong communication skills. This position offers a competitive salary of 1800$ per month with accommodation provided. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases according to organizational needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to optimize database functionality
- Regularly update database documentation for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and other database management tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Database Administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g. Amazon RDS)
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
