Experienced Welder for Structural Steel Fabrication



We are currently hiring an experienced Welder to join our team at a steel fabrication company in Almada. This position involves working on various projects related to structural steel welding, including commercial and industrial buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to determine the required welding techniques and materials
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Perform welding on different types of structural steel components, such as beams, columns, trusses, and plates
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and project specifications
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed welds
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Welder in the structural steel industry
- Knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) for both mild steel and stainless steel materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards (AWS D1.1)
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds consistently

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month. We also provide accommodation for employees who need it.

We offer free visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. If you are not currently living in Almada, we will provide a one-way ticket to relocate.
