Senior Accountant



We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's financial records. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Manage cash flow and conduct cash flow forecasting
- Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance role, preferably in a senior-level position
- Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations and standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent English language skills
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
