Head Chef


As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation at our restaurant in Dickirch. You will be in charge of creating and executing menus, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring the overall quality and consistency of dishes. In addition, you will lead and train a team of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus that appeal to our diverse clientele
- Manage food costs by monitoring inventory levels, controlling waste, and finding cost-effective alternatives
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a positive work environment and uphold food safety standards
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment to meet health standards

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creative approach to menu development with ability to adapt to changing trends or dietary restrictions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required.

Salary:
1100$ per month.
