Preservation Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Herzliya. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring their structural stability and compliance with modern building codes.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to identify potential preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies that balance the original design intent with modern functionality and safety standards
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects
- Utilize your expertise in historic materials, techniques, and construction methods to accurately restore historical buildings
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with preservation plans and timelines
- Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect, preferably working on historical buildings in India or similar locations
- Extensive knowledge of historic materials, techniques, and construction methods
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations related to historical preservation
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed. Visa sponsorship may also be available for qualified candidates.
