Fitter Technician



A leading manufacturing company in Mauren is seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and possess excellent problem-solving skills. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in our production facility.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly methods
- Use various hand and power tools to assemble and install machinery according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in equipment design or processes
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to read technical drawings
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month, along with benefits such as health insurance, vacation time, and opportunities for growth within the company.
