Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Utena. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for the Android platform. You should have a strong understanding of the Android development lifecycle and be proficient in Java and the Android SDK. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing native Android applications, as well as experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and version control systems. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month, and no accommodation will be provided.

As an Android Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Working with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in native Android development
- Proficiency in Java and the Android SDK
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and version control systems (such as Git)
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
- Understanding of Material Design guidelines
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
