Network and Systems Administrator

Our company, located in Oslo, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an urgent position, and we need someone who can start immediately.

As our Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. You will work closely with other IT professionals to troubleshoot any issues that may arise and implement solutions to improve the overall performance of our network.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Implement security measures to protect our network from cyber threats
- Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Install and configure new software applications as needed
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking related issues
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop strategies for improving network performance
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments in networking technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN setup, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), firewalls, VPNs
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. Please note that accommodation will not be provided. Candidates must have a valid biometric passport.
