Junior Database Administrator (English Speaking) - Vilnius, Lithuania

We are hiring a Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Junior DBA, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our company's databases to ensure their availability, security, and performance. This is an English speaking position suitable for foreigners with visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement and maintain database security protocols
- Create and maintain database backups
- Develop data management procedures and standards
- Collaborate with other teams to design and implement database solutions
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as data purging and index rebuilding

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL language
- Knowledge of database security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Fluency in English is required

Preferred qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or related role
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server databases
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
