Industrial Alpinist



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Svalbard. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights and in challenging environments, such as industrial facilities, construction sites, and natural landscapes.

Your main duties will include performing rope access techniques to access remote areas and completing tasks such as maintenance, repairs, installations, and inspections. You will also be responsible for setting up safety equipment and ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in rope access techniques and industrial alpinism. You should also possess excellent physical strength and endurance as well as strong problem-solving skills. A good understanding of safety protocols and regulations is also essential.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will need to have a high level of flexibility in your schedule as tasks may arise at any time of day or night. You may also be required to travel to different locations for projects.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial alpinism
- Certification in rope access techniques (IRATA or SPRAT)
- Physically fit with the ability to work at great heights
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to travel

Salary: $1100 per month (part-time)

Location: Svalbard (preference for local candidates)
