Handyman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Nakuru. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a handyman and be able to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
- Perform general repairs such as fixing plumbing leaks, painting, and patching drywall
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed
- Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs or installations
- Maintain inventory of necessary tools and supplies
- Follow safety protocols when working with electrical or hazardous materials
- Keep accurate records of completed work orders

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a handyman
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
- Time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physically fit with ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (Preference for local candidates)
