Front-End Developer

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites and web applications. You will work closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components. This is a part-time position that is ideal for students looking to gain experience while pursuing their studies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Optimize existing code for improved performance and maintainability
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes into functional interfaces
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components
- Conduct regular testing and debugging of code
- Stay updated on new web development trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms (SASS, LESS)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end development for e-commerce websites
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
