Junior Turner in Fonvieille

As a Junior Turner in Fonvieille, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes and other precision machining equipment to produce metal parts according to specifications. Your duties will include setting up and adjusting machines, selecting proper cutting tools, and inspecting finished products for accuracy. You will also be expected to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process. This is an entry-level position, making it suitable for freshers looking to gain experience in the field of turning.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various lathes and other precision machining equipment
- Set up machines and adjust settings to ensure proper operation
- Select appropriate cutting tools based on material and specifications
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality of finished products
- Inspect finished pieces using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Troubleshoot any issues with machines or materials that may affect production
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in a machining or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (French proficiency is a plus)
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the employee. We also offer free visa processing and airline tickets for international candidates.
