Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Salalah, Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power systems and a passion for technology and innovation. As a Power Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for various projects. This includes conducting feasibility studies, creating technical drawings and specifications, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and regulations to ensure our projects are compliant and efficient.

Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
- Conducting feasibility studies to determine the best approach for each project
- Creating technical drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the construction or operation of electrical systems
- Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and regulations to ensure compliance in all projects
- Collaborating with other engineers and technical staff on large-scale projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in power systems engineering
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and practices
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: 900$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.

City: Salalah, Oman.

Preference: Canadian nationality with experience working on international projects. However, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
