Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Eschen. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, measuring tapes, or square
- Cut or shape wood materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, flooring and trim according to specifications
- Repair damaged furniture or fixtures including cabinetry and doors
- Follow safety procedures when working with sharp tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Biometric passport for easy travel within the country
- Prior experience working with biometric passports is an added advantage
- Willingness to provide training for students or those interested in learning the trade
