Carpenter in Khasab, Oman
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of wood, as well as installing fixtures and furniture. Your primary duties will include measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing structures, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You may also be required to work on construction sites or in clients' homes.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and tools. You should also have good manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions. Experience with various types of wood and construction methods is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble structures using hand or power tools
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, or windows
- Repair or replace damaged structures
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the final product
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and wood properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting
