Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation of goods and supplies for our company in Sharjah. Your main duties will include coordinating shipments, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. This position requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including scheduling and tracking.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment status, delays, or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and legal requirements.
- Monitor transportation costs and find ways to optimize expenses.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient supply chain management.
- Resolve any shipment or delivery discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
- Train new employees on logistics procedures and company policies.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and logistics software (e.g. SAP).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing transportation and logistics.

Salary: 1400$ per month
