Head Pastry Chef


As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department of our renowned hotel in Sharjah. Your passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, as well as your leadership skills, will be key to the success of our pastry offerings. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that all pastries are prepared and presented to the highest standards. This role requires extensive experience in a similar position, excellent organizational skills, and a creative mind. Responsibilities:
- Manage all operations of the pastry department including ordering ingredients, creating menus, and overseeing production
- Train and supervise pastry staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all pastries are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Maintain inventory levels and monitor food costs
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Continuously research new trends in pastry making and incorporate them into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing a team effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus)
- Valid work permit for Sharjah (Indian nationality preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month, depending on experience.
