Typesetter - Indian Candidates Preferred

We are a printing company based in Kaunas and we are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging type for various printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent knowledge of typography and design principles.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange type for various printed materials using specialized software
- Ensure accuracy of text, font, spacing, and overall layout according to specific project requirements
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets the desired quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments or corrections to layout as instructed by project leads
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting techniques

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in typesetting or a related field
- Strong proficiency in typography and design principles
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar programs
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for consistency and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Lithuanian is a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred (accommodation will be provided)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
