We are in need of a skilled and dedicated Librarian to join our team at our library in Kaunas. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library's collection, assisting patrons with finding resources, and organizing events and programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection, including purchasing, cataloging, and organizing materials
- Assist patrons with finding resources and providing reference services
- Keep the library space clean and organized
- Plan and conduct events and programs for all ages, such as book clubs, storytimes, and workshops
- Promote the use of the library through outreach efforts and social media presence
- Train and supervise library staff and volunteers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems
- Passion for books and knowledge

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a library or similar setting is preferred but not required
- Experience planning events or programs is a plus
- Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates without work experience in Lithuania
