Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Washington. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data and systems. This includes identifying potential security risks, implementing security measures, and monitoring for any security breaches.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect sensitive data
- Monitor networks and systems for any suspicious activity or security breaches
- Investigate any security incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and implement necessary updates or changes to our systems
- Train employees on security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement technical solutions for improving overall security posture
- Provide recommendations for improving information system security
- Prepare reports on the status of our organization's information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption techniques
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Strong understanding of risk management principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Washington (with accommodation)

Preference given to candidates from Egypt or Kenya who are fluent in English.
