Entry-Level Smelter Operator in Mombasa, Kenya

We are hiring an Entry-Level Smelter Operator to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the smelting process. This is an English-speaking job and we welcome candidates from India who have their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to set procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and other variables to ensure efficient operation
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Monitor metal quality and make adjustments as needed
- Keep accurate records of production numbers, downtime, and any maintenance performed
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- Indian nationality with a valid work visa for Kenya (we do not provide accommodation)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- No prior experience required (on-the-job training will be provided)
- Physically fit to stand for long periods of time and perform manual labor in a hot environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month. This is an urgent job opening, so we are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible.
