Junior DevOps Developer

We are hiring a Junior DevOps Developer to join our growing team in Porto, Portugal. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our development and production environments, as well as implementing automated processes to streamline our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Develop and implement automation tools for software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Continuously improve processes through analysis and automation.
- Ensure security protocols are followed and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Experience implementing monitoring tools such as Splunk or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Porto, Portugal. Candidates must be willing to work from our office location in Porto.
