Instrument Technician

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Mombasa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level sensors.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with faulty instruments
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts or components
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex issues
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in instrument technology and industry regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with a variety of measurement tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow technical instructions
- Must be able to read technical drawings and schematics

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Pakistani or Nepali candidates. Part-time positions may also be available for students looking for experience in the field.
