Cashier - Nizwa, Oman


Our retail store in Nizwa is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling cash, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and discounts
- Ensure pricing accuracy for all products
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
- Follow proper cash handling procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and counting money
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this full-time position. In addition, we offer training opportunities for career growth within our company.

Location:
This position is located in Nizwa, Oman. We are open to all nationalities who hold valid biometric passports.
