Smelter Operator

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining furnaces and other equipment used in the smelting process. Your main duties will include monitoring temperatures, adjusting controls, and inspecting equipment for any defects or malfunctions.

To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience working as a Smelter or in a similar role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional technical training or certifications are preferred. You must also have excellent attention to detail, as well as good problem-solving and communication skills.

This is a physically demanding job, so you must be able to work in hot and noisy environments, often standing for long periods of time. You must also be comfortable working with hazardous materials and following strict safety protocols.
