Smelter Operator - Nairobi

We are hiring a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Nairobi. If you have experience working in smelting operations and are looking for a full-time job without requiring English skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring smelting equipment to melt and refine metals such as iron, steel, copper, and aluminum. This role requires physical strength and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Load raw materials into smelting furnaces according to production requirements
- Monitor furnace temperatures and adjust controls to regulate melting process
- Observe gauges, dials, and other instruments to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Pour molten metal into molds or transfer it to other machines for further processing
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferably with technical training)
- Proven experience working in smelting operations
- Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a hot environment while wearing protective gear
- Biometric passport (preferred)
