Senior Adjuster

As a Senior Adjuster, you will be responsible for evaluating and settling insurance claims related to property damage or personal injury. You will work closely with insurance companies, policyholders, and other professionals to determine the extent of damage and negotiate settlements. This role is based in Nakuru, Kenya and is suitable for individuals with experience in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review insurance policies, claims forms, and other relevant documents to determine coverage and liability
- Conduct thorough investigations into the cause of damages or injuries
- Collaborate with experts such as engineers, medical professionals, and legal counsel to gather evidence and assess damages
- Analyze information gathered and negotiate settlements with policyholders or their representatives
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all parties involved in the claim process
- Maintain accurate records of all claim activities and updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an adjuster in the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage limits, and liability determination
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
