We are in need of a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Eldoret. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including cutting, joining, and repairing metal components. You must possess strong technical skills and be able to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to determine the layout and specifications of metal components
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various welding techniques (e.g. MIG, TIG)
- Inspect welded surfaces for defects and perform repairs as needed
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain it in good condition
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder with at least 2 years of experience
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Proficient in using various welding techniques (e.g. MIG, TIG)
- Familiarity with different types of welding equipment (e.g. arc welders, oxyacetylene torches)
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and precision in work tasks
- Valid certification or training in welding is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Eldoret. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

This position is open to both local candidates as well as foreigners who meet the requirements. While English proficiency is not a strict requirement, basic communication skills in English would be beneficial.
