Land Surveyor - Roskilde, Denmark
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine and accurately measure land boundaries and features. You will be working primarily outdoors, using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers and total stations to collect data and create maps and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys to determine land boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant information
- Use specialized equipment to collect data, including GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners
- Create maps, drawings, and reports based on collected data for clients or internal use
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy of survey data
- Analyze collected data to identify potential issues or discrepancies in measurements
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or similar role
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards regarding land surveys
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience) + accommodation provided.
