Junior Accountant


We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This is a full-time position that requires previous accounting experience and proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Support month-end close process
- Communicate with clients to resolve billing inquiries
- Help with payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in MS Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
As a Junior Accountant, you will receive a competitive salary of 1800$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. While we welcome candidates from all nationalities, candidates who are eligible to work in Bulgaria without sponsorship are preferred.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Overtime may be required during busy periods.
