Tutor for English Language Learners


We are seeking a qualified English language tutor to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction to students of all ages and levels who are learning English as a second language.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions with students, focusing on their specific needs and goals
- Develop lesson plans and materials tailored to each student's level and learning style
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on areas for improvement
- Incorporate interactive activities and games to make learning engaging and fun
- Prepare students for exams or assessments as needed
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress
- Collaborate with other tutors and teachers to share best practices and resources

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Native-level proficiency in English (preferably from an English-speaking country)
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring English as a second language (ESL)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Passion for helping others learn and improve their English language skills

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month. While previous teaching experience is preferred, we welcome applications from recent graduates or those without formal teaching experience who have a strong understanding of the English language.
