Baker - Indian Cuisine


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. Our bakery specializes in traditional Indian cuisine and we are looking for someone who is passionate about creating delicious baked goods with a unique twist. As an English-speaking bakery, we are open to hiring candidates from all nationalities, as long as they have the necessary skills and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters for a variety of Indian baked goods, including naan, roti, samosas, and more
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofing cabinets
- Monitor baking process and adjust temperatures and timings as needed
- Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, toppings, and fillings
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for baking
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met in the bakery at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a baker in an Indian cuisine bakery or restaurant
- Knowledge of traditional Indian baking techniques and recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Good communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts or on weekends

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
