Finance Officer

Our finance firm in Clairvaux is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to handle financial data with accuracy and efficiency. As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budget planning. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Monitor spending and ensure adherence to budget
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance
- Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Communicate with clients regarding their financial accounts
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of records

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience working in the finance industry in Africa
