Unity Developer (Contract, Funchal, Portugal)


We are currently seeking a Unity Developer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone without experience to gain valuable skills and experience in the field of game development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing code for mobile and PC games using Unity, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing game code for performance.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with game designers and artists to develop gameplay mechanics and features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# for mobile and PC games using Unity
- Implement UI elements, animations, sound effects, and other game assets
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize game performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies related to Unity development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in C# programming language
- Experience with Unity game engine
- Strong understanding of game design principles
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Salary:
1300$ per month
