Contract Interpreter in Almada

We are seeking a professional interpreter to join our team in Almada on a contract basis. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating conversations and documents between two or more parties who speak different languages. This role is open to both male and female candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between individuals or groups who do not share a common language
- Listen to conversations and accurately interpret the information being exchanged
- Translate written documents such as contracts, legal documents, and reports
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Clarify any cultural misunderstandings that may arise during the interpretation process

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (Portuguese preferred)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with legal and technical terminology is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
