A reputable construction company in Braga is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying and finishing brick, stone, and other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, fireplaces, and other structures. You must also be able to read blueprints and follow specific instructions to ensure the accuracy and quality of your work. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month without accommodation. All nationalities are welcome to apply for this position, but candidates must have their own visa. Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered using rulers, chalk lines, or squares
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Lay bricks or blocks in patterns according to blueprints or specifications
- Cut or saw bricks, concrete blocks, or tiles using hand tools or power saws
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob levels
- Clean excess mortar from finished work using hand tools

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specific instructions accurately
- Proficient in mixing mortar or grout according to standard formulas
- Skilled in laying bricks or blocks in patterns according to blueprints or specifications
- Knowledgeable in cutting bricks, concrete blocks, or tiles using hand tools or power saws
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
