Senior Architect



We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Sheduva, Kenya. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide innovative solutions that meet their needs. Additionally, you will lead a team of architects and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to think creatively. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month and includes accommodation. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts accordingly
- Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Mentor junior architects on the team
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements
