Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavators to meet project requirements. Your primary duty will be to excavate and move earth, rocks, and other materials to prepare construction sites, lay foundations, and perform other necessary tasks. This role requires a skilled individual who can operate various types of excavators safely and efficiently in a construction environment.

Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators of different sizes to perform digging, trenching, grading, and backfilling tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as checking fluid levels, greasing moving parts, and reporting any malfunctions.
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other technical documents to determine the location of underground utilities.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including fuel usage, hours worked, and materials moved.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on schedule.

Requirements:

- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment.
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations regarding the operation of heavy equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems for troubleshooting purposes.

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Abu Dhabi

Preference: Indian candidates with English speaking skills

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
