Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Dickirch, responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in the field, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month, without accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship is available for non-English speaking candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and calibrate instruments and equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to identify issues
- Install new instruments and equipment as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of instruments
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work done on each instrument
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex problems
- Follow safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Technical diploma or degree in Electronics or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
